How to remove sidebar and in-text spacing problem
-
On my “Therapy” page I’m trying to remove the sidebar that shows “Recent Posts” “Archives” etc…
Also! On my “Large Group Facilitation” I can’t get rid of an extra space between text (Outcomes of a Large Group Process) and a bullet list. I was able to do this with no problem on my Mediation page. Help please!

You can choose a different page template, on the Page Attributes box of your editing screen:

As to formatting, please take a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/writing-and-formatting-poetry/ (it is meant for writing poetry, but applies to the blank lines issue)

thanks ~ making progress!
one more point: the shift-return thing is helpful, but what if the unwanted space is between a text line and a bullet list (as on my “large group facilitation” page)? i can’t seem to get rid of the extra space when the next line in a bullet series!
much appreciated,

Unfortunately, that spacing can only be adjusted through CSS with a Custom Design upgrade.

however, somehow I got it to work on my “mediation” page ~ any idea how i did it there???

It looks like you might have found some way to get shift-return to work there.
Alternatively, you can also fine-tune spacing via the HTML tab of the editor once the list is set up.
Anything beyond that would need to be made via CSS.
