    Hello all,
I’m using Adelle theme and it has facebook and twitter sharing icons integrated in. I’ve found a great sharing plugin that I want to use but it looks rubbish with the Adelle ones showing also. Does anyone know how I remove these? There’s no options (as far as I can see) on the dashboard.
    Thanks
    Rachael

The blog I need help with is rachphillips.com.

The blog you specified at rachphillips.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

To get help with a theme for a blog that is not hosted here at WordPress.com, you should check with the theme author first to see if they are willing to provide support for their free theme and then try the volunteer-based forums at http://wordpress.org/support/ to see if someone can take the time to help you there.

Since you’re question is kind of in between a theme and a widget question, you might also try checking with the plugin author.

If all else fails, you can hire a designer for a small project to get some quick help:

Go to the footer of your theme. Click the proudly powered by WordPress link and discover you have a WordPress.org install and you are posting to the wrong support forum just as the OP of this thread did.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    Hello again,
Thanks for keeping all WordPress.org issues off this WordPress.com forum so there is no confusion created here. We run on different software and have a different versions of the themes that have the same theme names.

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG then this is the perfect time to click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers on the correct forums for you software.

You could link the WordPress.org thread in a reply here if you’d like. That way, if anyone from this side has time to also help in the other forums, they could find your question there. If you post at http://wordpress.org/support/ make sure to include a link to the site you’re working on.
