I have to create a WordPress site and I would like to know the best practice to make it. I have to respect these 2 things :

    – The landing page is static
    – The post flow is displayed in another page

Is there any module to automatically create this structure alteration ?

    Thank you very much,

    Regards

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

Vincent, you’ll find the option at the top of Settings>Reading in your dashboard. Once you create a static page, hit the ‘static page’ radio button and set the desired static front page via the dropdown menu. I think all themes support this (someone correct me if I’m wrong though).

    Hi,
Thank you for your quick answer David. As I have to build the whol website from the scratch I guess I have to create a new theme.
Do I have to create each file of the theme manually or is there an existing plugin to generate that ?
