    I accidentally deleted the Tag Cloud widget and I’m not sure how to restore this or manually re-install.

    I also have this issue. Is there any way to restore it? Thanks for your help.

    Go here > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and look int the “Inactive Widgets? module to locate the widget you deleted and then set it up in your sidebar again.

    You have not specified which widget you are referring to. this is the link to the main page in support documentation for widgets > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-sidebars/ On that page you can use links to click through to descriptions and instructions for setting up for individual widgets.
    Hope this helps. :)

    Hi there- I have this problem, too
    http://thewanderlists.com

    Somehow my facebook ‘like’ badge is gone.

    I actually checked my inactive widgets and it’s not there…

    @wanderlists
    If you cannot find the widgets in question in “Inactive Widgets” I’m afraid we Volunteers cannot help you. Also I see that you are using the PressRow theme which will soon be removed and replaced with another theme so I’m wondering if Staff aren’t working on this in the backend.

    What I would do is create another Facebook badge. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/

    Agh- no more press row? What exactly happens? Does a new theme just reappear? I did some customization so I’m wondering how that will be affected…

    Also, the code is not appearing in the widget box when I paste. Maybe this is something on the backend?

    If you have the CSS upgrade and are using PressRow you will be notified of the change by email and Staff will assist with any problems just as the did with the Cutline/Coraline change.

    Regarding code being stripped out please read this entry > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    Hi, yes, I know about the code stripping, but in recreating the exact process that I used to create the first facebook badge (the process explained on the link you supplied), it’s not working. So it’s curious…

    As it’s only a “badge” linked to your profile page I wouldn’t waste any time. I would capture the image, upload it into my Media Library, and put it in an image widget, and link it to the Facebook profile page – done! :)
