I know it looks like I have a different host, than wordpress. The thing is that I have my own domainname, but I’m still using wordpress (http://maryathome.wordpress.com)

I wish to set up a front page on my blog, a page were I present the name of my blog, and buttons to get to my other pages.
    Is this possible?
I’ve tried to use coffeecup visual site designer, and allready my knowledge meets a little mountain. It asks for a saved link on my computer were my blog is. I have exportet my blog, saved the file (a xml-file), but the visual site designer refuses to open this, and says it is an invalid file.

Any idea about what I can do, or an easier way to make a frontpage?

The blog I need help with is maryathomewriting.com.

If you want to set up a static front page on your blog and create another page to display your posts on then please see here:

The export and import process instructions are found here:
    Export > http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
    Import > http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
