HOW TO SINGLE SPACE BLOGS
1) PLEASE DON’T USE ALL CAPS. It’s like shouting.
2) You appear to be copy-pasting from Word or similar. There’s your problem. If you want to write offline, use Windows Live Writer or another blog editor, which prevents this problem.
First tks for reply. It is easier for me to read to use caps.
I write right on the blog page every one of my posts.
Two more questions.
1. How do you add a Link to a blog?
2. How do you send it email? I have 100 on email list but I can send this to myself and then pass on that way.
One more, how do I do the SHARE BUTTON
Can’t get it to take.
Tks again, Joan
How do I single space blogs, they come out double space
Blog editors and wordproccessers are not the same and do not work the same way. The web standard is one blank line only, so you cannot add more blank lines by pressing return repeatedly like you would do with a typewriter or in a word processing application.
If you are working in the Visual editor, to get single spacing between paragraphs hold the SHIFT key down and simultaneously click ENTER at the end of the paragraph.
If you are working in the HTML (Text) editor, a single click of ENTER will give you a single-spaced line, and two clicks of ENTER will result in double spaced lines. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/09/13/wordpress-formatting-and-spacing/
How do you add a Link to a blog?
See here for how to create links in posts and pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
This is the general format of a link:
General link model:
Highlighted anchor text here
You type the anchor text in first. Then you use your mouse to highlight the anchor text ie. to “select” it. Then you click the link icon and the pop-up box appears for you to type the URL etc. into. Do note that the practice of using “here” as anchor text is not a good one at all. The best practice is to use meaningful anchor text such as the exact title and/or keywords in the title in the article you are linking to.
If you write directly on your blog, hold the Shift key down when you hit Return and that will single space it.
Sharing options are built in to your blog. Go to your Dashboard Sharing page and enable whatever services you like.
Put the Subscription widget in the sidebar and anyone who signs up automatically gets your post emailed to them. There’s no way to auto-add an email list; they will have to sign up themselves.
Do you mean how to add a link in the text of the blog? http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/

How do you send it email? I have 100 on email list but I can send this to myself and then pass on that way.
There is no mass mailing that you can do here. Your subscribers have to sign up themselves and then they will receive mail copies of your posts. You can publish a post on your other blog that directs followers to your new blog and requests them to subscribe to it.
You can set up email subscriptions on the new blog by using this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
If you would like a follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have wordpress.com accounts see here >
