I always see a 0 by the sharing tab in my dashboard (sad revelation) and I have no idea what it means and what to do to have my blog ‘shared’ so any tips would be appreciated.

Just general info on what it is and what I can do to get my sharing stat up.

The blog I need help with is catstevensfan.com.

Sharing icons are social networking icons, etc. you can enable your posts, pages and index pages which your readers can click to promote your blog with. You can enable them displaying on your blog here > Settings > Sharing
If you want them to appear on your front page make sure to select “Posts, pages and index pages” for “Show sharing buttons on” setting.

Getting your sharing stats up is strictly up to you. Unless you join and become an active member of social networks the likelihood your sharing stats will increase is extremely low. See here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/11/07/blog-promotion-basics/
