how to write a long post after the jump?

    how do i write a long post but not display all of it in the front page with all the other post entries. The “after the jump” kinda thing…how do i do that?

    Put your foot on the “more” pedal – ‘ split post with more tag alt+t” at the top of your editing box.

    Hilarious!
    Forest needs have given the instructions for those using the text rich editor.
    If you’re using the ordinary editor then you have two options (1) just click the more tab or (2) type in more - <!--more--> wherever you want the break to occur.

    Just keep in mind that whatever you post after the more tag won’t show up on the RSS feed, last I heard.
