HTML pop-up link

    Hi guys,

I got this problem when i post a link that is supposed to pup-up in a new browser window that is resized like i want it to. This is the code i use: <a href="#" onClick="'','MyWindow','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,width=600,height=300'); return false;">PLACE_YOUR_LINKTEXT_HERE</a>

When i publish the post with this code, the link get’s changed on the mainpage of my blog and it looks like this: <a href="#">test</a>

    What can i do`

Unfortunately the onclick information is being stripped. I believe that it is Javascript.

Javascript is disabled (and stripped) from for security purposes.

Try using (with the correct markup!)

    < a href=”h t t p ://” target=”_blank”> Link name < /a>

Note that the target on the end will force the browser to open a new window when the link is clicked. You won’t be able to do the toolbars directories etc, but it WILL open in a new window.

Similarly, you wouldn’t be able to put the flash directly in your post/page etc.

    Hope this helps.

Well, it doesn’t help but it confirms what i thought =). Thanks anyway, hope i can find something that can bypass this!
