A side affect of the way that WordPress handles the security for the site admin is that if you have the domain mapping upgrade and give an https url (like https://western-hindu.org/ ) it will try to give an https connection using the wordpress.com certificate.
Your browser says “hey wait a minute, the certificate is for wordpress.com but the site is western-hindu.org. I’d better warn the user that this is not the right site”. Depending on your browser that could be by a red crossed out https or by nasty popups asking you to confirm that you want to go to the page.
You don’t need to do anything about it, just give people the http:// url, not the https:// one.
