http://wordpress.com/#!/following/ has gone wonky
-
For two days now, I’ve had some major issues adding subscriptions to external blogs via WordPress’s Following feature. In the past, I’ve never had any problem adding links to external RSS feeds, Tumblr, Blogspot, etc., but now, when I attempt to add an external blog, I just see this:
[No Title]
Followed 11 hours, 5 minutes ago[No Title]
Followed 11 hours, 36 minutes ago[No Title]
Followed 11 hours, 40 minutes agoTo make matters more annoying, I can’t even delete these botched subscriptions. I’ve tried clicking the red X several times, but every time I refresh Following/Edit, the botched non-subscriptions re-appear.
As an experiment, I tried adding another WP subscription, and that worked normally.
Halp?

We’re rolling out some major changes the Following interface. We’re focussing on the display of WordPress.com blogs first, since that’s the vast majority of its use, then we’ll get the wonkiness out of the non-WordPress.com blogs.

People wanting to subscribe to my blog are getting the following message: “Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.” Their addresses are valid so what is the problem?
Can anyone advise me please?

Macmanx,
Is that why I am getting duplicate copies of posts several of the blogs I follow? If not how do I stop that? I have tried to unfollow then refollow to no avail. Thank you for your time and consideration. -
