    I totally HATE the blue on blue you are imposing. And I want my dashboard back as it was please. I have just learned I have cataracts starting and it is bad enough that I find black looking gray without having to fight to see this awful blue on blue. That wall of junk that is now my dashboard is deeply upsetting.

    HOW DO I GET MY OLD DASHBOARD BACK!!!!!

    The blog I need help with is savehove.wordpress.com.

    Hi, you can use this link to access your old Dashboard:

    Please let me know if you have other questions :)

    It didn’t work. My blog is now virtually unuseable. I am devastated.

    Hi there! The link romanbon gave you will take you back to the classic dashboard. From there you can access your posts and pages in the classic editor.

    You said this didn’t work. Can you tell me what happened instead of you landing on the wp-admin dashboard?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I did land on the dashboard after logging in. But it is the new one with the fat blue stats bit on the right side. Not the old dashboard with all the neat and tidy hits information at a glance and the need to click on stats to get the bar charting over time.

    It is like being a fly trying to avoid a spider with webs everywhere to entrap one into landing in these blue fields I actually get an angry reaction when that bip bop nonsense catches me. My flight response is instant. I feel absolutely hounded by those fat blue fields. I’m no longer blogging as I used to. It just wears me out clicking all over Gods half acre to escape the blue maze..

    There are two ways to reach the classic dashboard once you’re logged into WordPress.com.

    First, you can click on “My Sites” in the upper left. Then select “WP-Admin” from the sidebar.

    Or you can visit the link to your classic dashboard directly as romanbon linked previously:

    @savehove
    Excuse me for butting in here but I have had so much email on this removal of the link to the classic editor from the new Beep Beep Boop editor that I could scream.

    You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/

    The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-editing-an-old-post-how-do-i-switch-to-the-classic-editor?replies=5
