I am not able to get my FB and twitter accounts to link up with my WP account. P
I am not trying to post on anyone else’s threads. I am trying to connect (link) my FB and twitter accounts to WP so that my posts from WP will automatically go to those sites.
The blog I need help with is absutrawellnessfit.com.
The next time you publish a blog post, you can automatically post them to Facebook and Twitter too using the “Sharing” section available on the right side of the blog post editor.
You can learn more about the Publicize feature on WordPress.com here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
I hope this helps clarify things. Feel free to get back if you have questions.
I am still having problems with connecting my FB and Twitter accounts to WP. I am getting the message “There is an issue connecting to FB/Twitter”
That looks strange. Have you tried using different web browsers? I suggest you clear cache and cookies on your web browsers as explained here to see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes. I am right here if you have questions.
I just cleared the cache and cookies on my laptop’s browsers. I am still getting the same message “There is an issue connecting to FB/Twitter”.
I am flummoxed!!!!!
You can try using the Facebook debugger
IIf you are not successful post this specific info first
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question
Thanks WP Support. I messed around with the publicize page and finally got FB and Twitter connected to my account.
Will be in touch if I need you again. :-)
That’s good news. Happy blogging. :)
