I can't delete my upgrades so I can delete my site.

    When I go on to manage purchases there is no option to cancel my domain registration. I need to cancel this so that I can cancel my blog.

    The blog I need help with is cleanfoodiedirtyfoodie.wordpress.com.

    What is the domain URL?

    Exactly which username account purchased the upgrade?

    Exactly which underlying .wordpress.COM blog was the upgrade purchased for?

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.     I also have a similar problem.
    I bought a domain ‘hapennyqueen.com’ but afterwards I changed the title of my blog, so I left the domain, and separately set up my new blog ‘thishappylowlife.wordpress’
    The domain has expired now but for some reason is directing traffic to/from my other blog…. anyway visitors can’t see my blog because of the expiry.
    I’ve tried to cancel the domain but I keep getting directed round in circles in the support section of the website.
    I click on cancel domain, it sends me to contact support. I click on contact support and it sends me back to cancel domain.
    I’m really frustrated right now. I was thinking to upgrade my new blog once the old domain expired but this has been such a hassle that I’m reconsidering even staying with wordpress.
    Please can someone from tech please remove the expired domain from my account?

    That domain expired only 7 days ago, so you can still renew it. Are you sure you want to cancel it, knowing you might never be able to register it again? Please confirm if you want to cancel it completely.

    On the Contact Support page, did you click the blue “Get in touch with support” button, or did you click the Cancel Domain link? If you had clicked the button it would have given you a form to submit a support ticket.

    I can see that you tried to change your email address, but you haven’t confirmed the change yet. When you made the change we sent an email to the new address with a link you need to click to confirm the change. If you didn’t receive that email, please check the Spam folder, as well as the Social and Updates tabs in your inbox.

    You should also be able to resend that email if you go to your account settings page:



    I am sure, thank you. I want to cancel the hapennyqueen domain name but not my thishappylowlife titled blog.

    I did click on that but no form ever came up. I just got sent back round.

    I have cancelled the expired domain, so you should no longer see a warning about that on your site.

    Let me know if you need more help with the email address. As you started the change about a month ago, you might need to resend the confirmation email from the Account Settings page.
