I deleted my working draft and desperately need it back. Can you help?
Did you check in your trash section? That’s where it goes after you delete it from drafts. Then you can “Restore post”
Yes. I was wondering if there is someone at the server could do for me. I am desperate. I understand that once users have deleted deleted items from trash it is permanently gone, but I am asking for help from WordPress. This is an emergency. Thank you.
I’ve tagged it for more help. If you’ve deleted it from the trash I’m not sure what else you could do.
Thank you so very much jennpower! As distraught as I am, I’m forging ahead and will learn from this grave mistake. From now on I’ll take the necessary precautions to prevent this from happening again in the future. Readers, please heed this advice and don’t let this happen to you. I spent too many hours on this piece to have a silly mistake coupled with lack of sleep rob me of a great post. I’ll never be able to rewrite it quite the same way again. But thanks, jennpower, for trying! A few more mistakes like this and I go back to paper and pencil!

I’m afraid there is nothing that we can do to restore your post. Once it is removed from trash, we are unable to retrieve it.
Thank you for contacting me, Jonathan. I truly appreciate the support I receive from members and staff alike here at WordPress. After a day of mourning the loss of my beloved post, I have resigned to rewriting it and coping with the fact that though it may not be same, there is hope it may be ‘better’ in a different way when the replacement is done. I will say my blogging endeavor has led to incredibly exciting opportunities in just the one month since it’s conception.
Do take a look at my blog and spread the word! I’m a one-man shop proving that with help of a strong content management and blog publishing applications provider on the web today, everything can be done!

Really? Don’t you have anything better to do than troll our nice community here where we do respect one another and hassle them after a horrific experience like I had today? Get real and please find something better to do like stick to your blog and let the staff pay attention to matters like this. I was merely being appreciative and yes, after the day I had I was trying to make myself feel a little better by Word-Pressing myself a bit to the staff — no one else.
