Ok. Thank you very much for your help.

Certainly. Thank you for your patience and for being a part of WordPress.com. :)

It would be helpful if there were some sort of announcement of upcoming changes, including resources for information/support. I think it is completely foolish to put the WP Admin button at the bottom of the left-hand toolbar, very inconvenient from the default cursor-location at the top of the bar, at the “View Site” button. To my mind, it only compounds the silliness of having to take 2 steps to get to the dashboards of one’s various sites.

Either way, glad to have been directed to this resource for collective griping, and that WP.com seems amenable to discussing what seemed unilateral decisions.

@skellermwd1, I’m sorry for the trouble. We don’t announce every change before it happens, but happiness engineers are always here to help with transition and we will do our best to help you find your way when things move around. Change is happening at a faster pace than normal right now because WordPress.com has decided to rework the main interface as we go. This new work will be more sustainable and scalable and is built on a different codebase that has just been open sourced. It’s part of a bigger plan, the changes are happening more than normal lately but that will go back to a more normal pace after all the major pieces are in place, and what I can do to help you right now is just to work through the changes with you.
