I get a "server not found" error on my mapped subdomain

  1. The WP diagnostic tool confirms that the CNAME is set correctly, and traffic is being redirected to my WordPress blog correctly. But I get a "Server Not Found" error about 90% of the time.

    I have received complaints from friends/clients also that the blog URL is not working. In many cases, I cannot view published pages linked from within the WP publishing tool -- making it impossible to update the blog.

  2. I've temporarily reset as your primary domain under Store > Domains until this gets sorted out.

    We've run some tests and it looks like only one of your domain name servers is correctly resolving.

    dig +short CNAME - works
    dig +short CNAME - doesn't work

    We suggest you contact your provider and have them investigate further to fix the issue. Once it's working, you can reset your primary domain.
