I have likes on my WordPress blog, without any views showing in the upper-screen

I have a blog on WordPress, with a couple of visitors visiting it once in a while. But most of the time, according to the view stats, nobody really reads it. I’m okay with that, but what bothers me is that I get countless of likes on some of my blog entries(most of the time, they’re recent, but at other times, they are either a bit older or some of my other pages like “About”).

Now, what is weird, is that eventhough I receive likes, I don’t get any extra views. Does this mean that there is a bot/spammer or something liking my entries, or is the view counter just not precise?

The blog I need help with is thiprog.wordpress.com.

Likes are not page views. In fact, likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.
