I have had the same site for a few years now, and just three days ago I clicked on a theme change and now my whole world has been turned upside down. I made a huge error in judgment and now my site is messed up. I just need to have my site put back to normal. Can you please help.

The blog I need help with is brucybruce.com.

    Hi there,

I see that you have switched themes several times over the past few days.

From what I see on your account, the original theme you had was the skeptical theme, correct? Have you tried to revert back to Skeptical to see if everything goes back to the way you initially had it?

Let me know if that works or if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase. To cancel your purchase and obtain a refund, please use the Cancel button on the My Upgrades page.

To swtich themes back to Skeptical read on and know that any customization you did is theme specific and Staff cannot restore what you customized prior to changing to Snaps.

Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any customization or CSS editing.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult. Here’s an example:

    Hey Bruce,

I previewed your site using the Skeptical theme and took a screenshot that you can see in the link below. Is this what the site was looking like before you made a theme switch?

    https://cloudup.com/cFTJMXMRgBL

You weren’t using CSS via the custom design upgrade, so the screenshot shouldn’t look too different than how you had it, if at all.

If it is what you’re looking for, as @timethief mentioned, go Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and search for the Skeptical theme. Once you find it, all you need to do is activate it and you’re all set.

Let me know if you have any questions or issues.

    Thanks!

Neither Volunteers nor Staff will do this for you so be clear on that. I provided the instructions above and you have to act on them.
