I need help linking my existing domain to be hosted by WordPress!

I’ve just set up a free blog with WordPress called melancholicblog.wordpress.com, but I also own a domain called confessionsofamelancholic.com that I bought with GoDaddy.

I tried to follow the instructions for linking my domain to WordPress but I didn’t really understand what to do when I got to the stage where you enter the nameservers – you need at least two apparently, and I didn’t know what to put.

Could someone please tell me clearly step-by-step how I link confessionsofamelancholic.com with my existing free domain at WordPress (but of course keeping my original domain) – I haven’t done anything with the domain name yet, so there is no content or anything on it.

Also, how much does WordPress charge if I were to use them as my host?

    Many thanks in advance! :)

The blog I need help with is melancholicblog.wordpress.com.

WordPress.com does not currently accept incoming domain transfers. If you already have a domain and you want to use it with your WordPress.com site, follow the instructions for mapping an existing domain to your WordPress.com blog. The step by step instructions are here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
