  2. I'm having this problem too. The image coming up is from our event last year, not this year's logo. I've deleted the image from "media" so I don't know why it's still showing the old image when I link to the site on Facebook.

Hello, I actually found the solution to the problem not long after posting. I just get impatient sometimes. lol I do not know if you are having the same problem, but I will tell you how I resolved this, and hope your issue is similar.

In the past, I have found that these things usually lie with Google/ Google+ accounts. So, I went to our org. google account, which is linked to everything, including our youtube account.

There, I found that the account still had the old logo in our profile pic. When I changed it there, it resolved the problem.

If this doesn't resolve your problem, and I can help further please let me know. I will do my best to help you located the offending image. lol In the meantime, check all the places that you place you old logo. You may find the culprit. ^_^

when I post my link to facebook, twitter, etc, there is a different image on the link.

We have no control over how long it takes for Facebook or Twitter to flush their image caches.

Gravatars do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. Do not keep uploading! The first place they tend to display is here in the forums. If several days have passed and that change is not in evidence then post here for Gravatar support >

this same image appears in the top left corner of my browser tab

That is a blavatar AKA a favicon. It is a cached image and will take time to update.

We have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. From:

Timethief. As I said previously, I already resolved this issue. It was only a matter of changing my profile pic in my google account. :) Thank you.
