I want to add a 1-5 scale in blog.

  1. I am using The Volcano theme and I'm trying to add a Storm Scale (1-5) image widget to the sidebar. So far I have written out the scale, taken a screen shot and then added the image to a document, then copied and pasted the code into the widget area but it doesn't show. I've tried in sidebar and footer but no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    The blog I need help with is

  2. edit,

    Sorry wrong code above.

  3. Many types of code are not allowed here for security and reliability reasons

  4. The Volcano theme? No, that's the Motion theme.

    Please post the code here between backticks. The backtick (not to be confused with the singe quote) is found on the key to the immediate left of the number 1 key. It's in lower case ` on the same key as the tilde ~ which is in upper case.

  5. This is the code for the image;

    <img src="" alt="20120322-012528.jpg" class="alignnone size-full" />

    I don't see anything which is not allowed. I may be wrong. And I have used this method before.

  6. I don't seem to be able to find back ticks on iPad key board.

  7. I was able to put the image in the sidebar of a test blog - I used the "Image" Widget

    Have you tried this with the Image Widget?

  8. Hi, yes but I'll try again. Re 'grave' back tick. It isn't on iPad.

  9. When I used the Image Widget I just put in the URL of the image

    You can also use the code tags at the top of the leave a reply box.

  10. Hi all. I've done it. I needed to delete another widget which was useless to me anyway.

    Thank you all for your patience with this non techy.

    Oh and of course it's Motion not volcano. Tut! :)

  11. You be welcome & good luck
