I want to post individual posts under a "Page" chronologically …

I have a line of headers (I believe they are called) at the top of my page. My home page posts everything chronologically, and I like that. But I want to start posting my photography under my “Photos” header but when I go the “page” it wants me to post the photo, or wording, as if it were within the original “page”. How can I make the Photos Page a place that posts chronologically like my Home page?

I hope this makes sense! If not, go to my page. View my home page and it’s order. And then click on my Photos tab at the top where you will see only one photo. I’d like to start stacking photo posts on top of that one in the same chronological order my home page goes about it. How do I do that?! Thank you!!

The blog I need help with is tobeinspa-d.com.

We organize posts by assigning categories to them, and dynamic category pages automatically created by the software when we publish posts are not the same as static Pages that we bloggers create.

Please read this first Post vs. Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

    (1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog.
    (2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.

Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.

By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page and have your published posts display on another page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ but doing that does not change what follows.

Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.

We assign categories to posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/
Until we publish a post with a category assigned to it the relevant dynamic categories page will not have any data that it can display.

This guide will walk you through how to create category pages for your blog, to display groupings of similar posts on pages other than your front page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

    Create a custom menu
Add dynamic categories and sub-categories pages to it
    Create order and sub-menus (dropdowns)

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well. Here is more information:

Oh man, you have been SO helpful! Wow, thank you!

There is SO much information in there, but now I have fabulous links to click on. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And yes, it all makes sense now. So basically if I wanted the setup I am seeking (for all pages to be dynamic) then I would need to design my own website, correct?

I am going to go put my latest photo in the category of the Photos Page and hope it appears!

let me try this out to see if you have a lightbulb moment when I do.

This is static page I created on my blog that I manually update. Take a very close look at the URL:

Now take a very close look at the URL for a dynamic category page on the same blog that automatically updates every time I publish a post assigned to that category:

Ok it didn’t work. But what did work was when I scrolled to the bottom of my homepage, I clicked on the category link for Photos and it was there. Now how to make the Photo category a header tab, so that all my photos go into that stream…

Go back over my first comment above please. Everything you need is there.
