I want to restart my site but don't know how

  1. I am just starting to create a site for myself and didn't like how I started so tried to delete it to start again but haven't been able to.

I would like to create a site as, but when I try now, I get a message saying that site isn't available. Can you tell me how to get back to the beginning?

    Thank you.
    Blog url:

  2. is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this blog.

Since you deleted the site it is gone forever even from you - you need to find a different name

A note to you and others - there is NOTHING you can do to a blog here that can't be fixed with a bit of help from those of us in the forum or the staff - EXCEPT deleting a blog - deleting is gone forever

  3. Is that for certain?
I just created it yesterday, didn't like it and wanted to start again. And now the entire address is gone forever?! How is that possible? Is there any way to contact wordpress directly to reset it? :-(

  4. It's unfortunate that you deleted the blog by using these instructions that include 3 warnings and require clicking a verification link in an email. The warnings and verification email state that deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

You can register another blog with a similar name.

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying address is.

To restart use the tutorial prepared by Staff which is linked to on the bottom of your Admin page

  5. I'm sorry, but deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again. There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email.

You can start a new blog by logging in to and then going to

With any blog, you can also use your custom domain with Domain Mapping upgrade.
