I don’t know what has happened overnight…yesterday this blog was ok, now it’s terrible.
I use Firefox and all is ok. Safari ok. Opera ok, Chrome ok
Then I checked it on IE7 and it’s all messed up – the text is absolutely enormous.
It gets bigger and bigger as I scroll down the page.
Is there anything I have to do?
I don’t know a thing about codes so please explain as if I were a 3 year old.
    Thanks ever so much.

    Two possible problems:
    1. Are you pasting from Word? If so, you shouldn’t. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/09/why-not-to-use-word/
    2. The use of the MORE tag. Looks like you’ve got some formatting issues around the more tag. Check out this FAQ http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/06/17/formatting-issues-with-the-more-tag/

It looks like the issue is in your Isaiah 40 post.

    Thanks!
Yes, I do copy and paste from Biblegateway. How do I get around this without having to type the whole text?
And I guess you are right about the “more”, but I don’t understand what I have to do…
    I’m an absolute newbie…help?
    Thanks so much!

Paste into the html editor and then click over to the visual editor. It’ll strip out all the bad formatting for you and you can reformat it as you choose.

Or a lot of people like to use Windows Live Writer which lets you do all your editing and formatting offline, then publish direct to your blog.

Ok, I’ll give it a try! Thanks!
I found “Deepest Sender” the other day – could I copy and paste into that and then publish into WordPress?
Or is W.L.Writer better? I want the easiest one!
    Thanks for your help!

The issue was – in fact – with your MORE Tag. Please see – http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/06/17/formatting-issues-with-the-more-tag/

I moved your MORE tags outside of the HTML and the font size in IE should now be back to normal.

    No, it’s even worse now…
could you check again? Please. Thanks.
I’ve downloaded the windows live thingy and I’ll start playing with that later!

Are you using IE6 or IE7? In IE7, the blog looks okay.

I use Ff, but checking with IE7
Oh, it looks great now! Thanks so much!
Except Psalm 23 – it’s not in the middle anymore.
Could you do that for me – I’m terrified to mess it up!
    Thanks so very much!!

Sure, the text is now centered. Refresh your browser, and you should recognize the changes.

    Beautiful!
    Thanks you so much!
So in future I use Windows Live Writer and should be ok?
    Have a lovely Sunday!
    God bless, Jonie

That’s certainly an option, as rosclarke previously stated. You won’t have to worry about pesky formatting issues.
