I'm having some trouble utilizing the Oxygen theme on my WordPress.com blog

I’m having trouble figuring out what size images should be in order to display on the front page posts (where it appears with a “Read Article ->” button) without the image or text contained in the image being cut off.

I’m also having trouble figuring out how to remove the “blogroll” and “meta” sections on the right hand site of my blog.

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is modernsuperior.wordpress.com.

That information is listed on the theme description page at http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/ . Look under “featured images” and it give the size that must be used for the slider at the top of the theme. in the showcase template.

Thanks, I think I got the image thing nailed down — just need to go about creating a bunch of custom images.

Any ideas about getting rid of that blogroll over on the right side would be amazing. I figured it’d be in the widgets or something but I’m not seeing it.

Go to appearance > widgets and on the right sidebar, remove the links widget if one shows there. If one does not, then what you are seeing is a sample display of widgets. Add whatever widgets you want to the right sidebar and that sample set will go away.
