Images jumping to different posts

  1. I have images posted that, upon looking at older posts, I see non-related images from various posts-like they are off visiting other posts.

The blog I need help with is

  2. It could be advertising but unless you post links to these images or post links to screenshots of them we cannot determine whether or not this is the case. Note that Staff do have backend access to blogs so if your do post screenshots in your Media Library they will be able to view them and respond to your concern. Or you can email the screenshots to them. has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.

  3. OK, so here is an example:
The third image down does not belong-it is from a different post. It came from this post:

    Again, images from this post:
Are showing up in this post:

These two examples are just one image jumping, however this post: has multiple images that do not belong. What gives?

Am I loading incorrectly? is my stash to full?

  4. I think you need Staff intervention to sort this out. Here’s the link After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

  5. Just an aside, even though I remember at least one other user having this exact same problem, you seem to be uploading your images straight out of your camera. At 5MB+ per image, that will eat up your 3GB storage space in a snap and it's not necessary.

Your theme Nishita has a maximum posting width of 1024 pixels and that is the largest width you need to upload. See here:

timethief has some excellent tips on her blog about image resizing and links to free programs. And you might also want to see this Support Doc on image troubleshooting
