I have a problem with my blog. I was trying to upload new pictures when I realized it was done in a poor quality. I tried to reduce the resolution from 300px to 72px but the problem stayed. Besides that, all pictures I uploaded years ago have the same problem. I Attempted to check it from different computers but the pictures are seen in a similar way.
On the other hand, my gallery doesn’t work correctly. It just works when I use “Google Chrome” so it could by a problem for customers.
Thak you, modlook!
The blog I need help with is salitre24.wordpress.com.
I’m not sure I understand. Most images in your media library are around 700px wide, which is a good size to use in general for online publishing, and more than sufficient to display them properly on the theme you’re using.
Where exactly does your images appear with poor quality? Please provide a link to a specific post or page, and it would also help if you can explain exactly what you see that doesn’t look right.
The gallery issue is a known one – it happens if you have more than one gallery showing on one page, like on your site’s front page. If you view a gallery post on its own, like https://salitre24.wordpress.com/2016/11/02/dia-de-difuntos-7/, the gallery works like it should.
First of all, sorry for my English.

Thank you! Do you know if it’s going to be like this in the near future?
Here you are a link where you’ll see a picture where there are some pixels on the sculpture’s face. The original picture isn’t like this:
Why could it happens? I haven’t had this problem before.
And here you are the orininal gallery where the photo appears. It’s the third.
Thak you a lot!
I’ll tried uploading just a picture and I realize photos are not seen properly when you open it from a gallery. If you click on the picture of this post, the picture has the real quality:
On the other hand, if you open the picture from the gallery of this other post, you’ll see some differences although both of them are the same picture.
So the gallery could be the problem.
How could I sort it out?
Sorry I made a mistake, this is the first link on the last reply:
Right. So in https://salitre24.wordpress.com/2017/01/02/3956/ the image is showing at almost the same size as the actual image file. However, in https://salitre24.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/domingo-de-ramos-2/ we need to shrink down the image a bit for the thumbnail, the small circle image that shows there. When we shrink down an image like that it will lose some quality. There is no way to avoid it.
But if you click on the thumbnail in the gallery to see the full Carousel – https://salitre24.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/domingo-de-ramos-2/#jp-carousel-3923 – you’ll see it’s the same quality as if you look at the full size image at https://salitre24.files.wordpress.com/2017/04/semana-santa-malaga-salitre24-pepe-lopez-esperanza-211.jpg . This is because we don’t need to resize there.
So the problem is not the gallery itself, but that we need to resize the image to use in the small circle thumbnail.
The gallery not working correctly on the front page we are working to fix, but I cannot say when it will be done.
But if you click on the thumbnail in the gallery to see the full Carousel – https://salitre24.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/domingo-de-ramos-2/#jp-carousel-3923 – you’ll see it’s the same quality as if you look at the full size image
I can’t see properly in the Carousel either, and I even attempted it from different computers. It’s the first time it happens to me. I’ve never had this problem before.
Anyway, thak you very much indeed for your help and sorry for bother you.
Strange. It showed at good quality for me.
I see you’ve now deleted the post containing that gallery? It could be the image is not loading properly on your computer, so if something like this happens again with another image, please check if using a different browser or internet connection, or even viewing your site on another computer makes any difference.
I deleted the post because it was created to show what I said. I think it could be a problem of galleries or my theme. I’m proving another themes so If I find any problem I’ll write again.
Thank you very much for your atention.
