Images shrinking in size
My blog posts images are shrinking in size when I keep any item(like copyrights, etc) in the sidebar. Is there any way to keep it to its original size
The blog I need help with is travelcrusade.wordpress.com.
@jadavpur08 Since your site is marked as private that means volunteers like myself can’t see it — that’s no problem, but I’ve added modlook to the tags section of this thread so a member of the staff can take a look.
Alternatively you could provide us with the name of the theme you’re using and I can research the issue through the support pages or testing the issue on my own site.
On pages on your site that displays a sidebar content will be narrower than on pages that display full width. That’s what’s supposed to happen, as the sidebar is taking up some of the space that would otherwise be used for the content.
I looked at some of your posts, and your images are displaying at the maximum size they can display with a sidebar present.
If i keep those items in my footer rather than the sidebar its working fine and the images are upto mark..But on keeping the items in the sidebar the images are shrinking too much which I dont prefer..Is there any way to adjust the size..My site is http://www.travelcrusade.org .I am using twenty seventeen theme currently in my blog

You are posting to the wrong support forum. This is WordPress.COM support and that site is not on our servers.
We do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page. However, about 30% of those who post here every day are posting to the wrong support forum and must be redirected to the correct support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support.
But on keeping the items in the sidebar the images are shrinking too much which I dont prefer
That is how it’s supposed to work, as I explained above. If you have a sidebar, the content area of the theme is narrower and any content added there will adjust to fit. All themes work that way.
My site is http://www.travelcrusade.org
That is a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software as @timethief pointed out above. You might be able to change how the theme works using custom CSS, or even by creating a child theme where you edit the code of the theme itself. But we’re not able to help you with that in the WordPress.com forums. Please post into the self-hosted forums linked above if you need any more help with that.
