Imbedded Google Calendar not showing up for anyone but me…

  • I have had an imbedded Google calendar on my website, but it appears as though only I can view it. I attempted to view it on my husband’s computer and it doesn’t show up.

I followed the instructions on the help page. I have tried deleting the code and adding it again, making it private then public again…nothing seems to be working. :/

It is a community calendar, so I need to make sure people have access to it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I wanted to update this since I did some checking around…

I have followed the instructions from rachelmcr on a this topic and it is still not showing up on my husband’s computer.

I have both the original embedded link from google, and the one she suggested from her post, changing only the name of the calendar and the location state, and now I see 2 calendars and he still sees nothing.

  • Hi there, I just tested on my Win10Pro PC with FF 48.0.1 and Chrome 52.0.2743.116 m (64-bit) and in both browsers the 2 calendars on your homeschool page show up for me. (temp screenshots)

So I believe there might be some setting or extension on your husband’s laptop browser that may be blocking the embeds. The first thing to try is the suggestions in this guide to browser troubleshooting: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

If you still are not able to resolve this, please post back here with the OS and browser that your husband’s laptop uses.
