Imbedding operational Excel spreadsheet with horizontal scroll bars

    I have tried for several days now to successfully imbed an operational Excel spreadsheet with both vertical as well as horizontal scroll bars. Unfortunately, after I have done this (using the Media upload button), I try to open the spreadsheet in Review mode, and wordpress brings up a Download window. After I try to open it, it continues to bring up another window asking me the same question. In other words, I am stuck and unable to open the imbedded Excel spreadsheet. I have tried several google articles’ suggestions, to no avail. Is it really this hard? Does anyone know how to do this? Does WordPress have the capability to provide HORIZONTAL scrollbars with the uploaded Excel spreadsheet?
