    I very much doubt you can enforce a request not to be linked to on the internet.



    There are a lot of sites that claim Lipozone is an unsafe scam and some reference various lawsuit’s and ingredients being banned in several countries –

    but yes a blanket “you can’t link to us” sounds like a tough sell since that is the whole basis of the internet – they could bust individual blogs if the blog copied large amounts of content from their site



    Suing for trademark violation or defamation is one thing. Insisting nobody can link to you is likely to bring on the Streisand Effect, on which I recently blogged.



    I liked the part of your article where the activists were putting links to the parody.

    And for someone to put links to Lipozone and to the articles about legal trouble etc. I would think would be legal – irritating but legal



    It is in Canuckistan, I believe. And in the US, so far, the corporations haven’t won THAT much.
