Implementing Google Analytics?
Hi guys and girls!
I’ve been wanting to add Google Analytics (which I think most of you is familiar with) to my blog. Also, I’ve done some research for whether or not this is possible with a .wordpress.com-blog. So question to you is:
Is it possible to implement Google Analytics to my blog, betathgts.wordpress.com, in any way?
I’m familiar with the CSS-upgrade, but I don’t want to do the upgrade (which costs about $15) if Analytics still can be implemented.
All serious will be appreciated highly!
REMEMBER: I use the commercial (.com) version of Wordpres. I’m fully aware of this implementation going smoothly on .org.
The blog I need help with is betathgts.wordpress.com.

(The words with Caps-Lock ON is the ones I forgot)
Google Analytics is NOT possible with WordPress.com
if you want to add google analytics do you need to go to a wordpress.org site?
Now that ga.js (the new Google Analytics code) has been out for more than a year, supporting multiple Google Analytics accounts on the same page, it seems that the original reasoning for not allowing Google Analytics is no longer valid.
The main problem I’m trying to solve by getting Google Analytics is to be able to get aggregate stats off of multiple blogs. GA offers multiple avenues for aggregating stats, but the internal WP stats make you check each of your blogs for such.
You might want to contact staff and make that request directly. The change is not widely known.
Did anyone contact staff about this? I would love to get GA on my blog here.
I just moved from blogger yesterday, three blogs. On the basis that wordpress.com can support google analytics. How do I contact staff directly and find out the status on this?
http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ , but don’t expect anything affirmative. They already use GA here and Google rules say they can’t run multiple occurrences of the software on one domain (wordpress.com). All of our blogs are subdomain so that are all a part of the main domain.
That last sentence should say, “…so they are all a part of the main domain.”
I’ve been trying to do the same thing to add Google Analytics tracking code to my blog and was not possible!
I am using the .com blog version also, and is not working.
It is not possible on WP.com, as you can see from the above posts.
