en WordPress.com Forums › Support Import Followers from self-hosted blog Author Posts May 2, 2013 at 4:19 pm #1255219 dancoopMember I have a self-hosted blog, at http://www.software4nonprofits.com/blog, that I have just exported and imported to a new WordPress.com blog, at donationusers.wordpress.com. I have two types of followers there, both Subscriber-type Users, and users who subscribed with the Subscribe2 plugin. How do I transfer them all to the new blog? Thanks! The blog I need help with is donationusers.wordpress.com. May 2, 2013 at 10:48 pm #1255506 macmanxStaff Were you using Jetpack before? We can only import subscribers from the Jetpack subscription service, not Subscribe2 or any other subscriber plugins. http://jetpack.me/ May 3, 2013 at 12:35 am #1255517 dancoopMember Can JetPack transfer over my subscriptions from Subscribe2, and Users of type Subscriber? Would that allow you to do the transfer? If not, is there no other way, like if I give you a text or Excel file with one email address per line or something? May 3, 2013 at 6:20 pm #1255558 macmanxStaff Unfortunately, no. Jetpack can only import WordPress.com subscribers, and WordPress.com can only import Jetpack subscribers. There is no way around that at the moment. Author Posts The topic ‘Import Followers from self-hosted blog’ is closed to new replies.
