Import followers from WordPress.com to wordpress.org
Hi I’m moving from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. My new blog id is http://www.dynamicsaxlounge.com. I understand from the forum that to transfer my followers i must be contact the support. So dear happiness engineer :) can you please transfer these followers to my new blog.
If it works the other way around do let me know.
The blog I need help with is kamalblogs.wordpress.com.
Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and post the relevant URL(s) into this thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. I tagged this thread for their attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
Thanks for your response timethief. Jetpack is installed and connected to wordpress.com. So i’m waiting patiently for the team to respond.
Hi Kamal – Sure thing, can you please confirm the full URL of your old WordPress.com blog that you want the followers exported from?
Hi Kamal – Ok, I’ve moved them. It can take awhile for them to display on your end, so if you still don’t see them listed in your Site Stats in 24 hours, please let me know.
Thank you. I will update incase there are issues.
It worked. Thanks.
I want to import my wordpress.com follower/subscription to my self-hosted wordpress.org.
I’ve install Jetpack plugin and place subscription widget to the frontend iwanbanaran.com.
Thank you for your help before.

Thanks for your assistant. I’ve appreciated that
I am still waiting anyway……
I noticed that your Jetpack connection is displaying a temporary address on this end.
You’ll need to make sure that Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com with your actual domain name iwanbanaran.com. Otherwise you’ll have problems later with links in your emails to subscribers.
Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the Jetpack page in your site’s dashboard
2. Click the “Connected to WordPress.com” button in order to disconnect
3. Make sure that the domain name iwanbanaran.com is displayed in your browser address bar and in the Site URL field under General -> Settings
4. Go back to the Jetpack page in your dashboard and click “Connect to WordPress.com”
Please let me know when you’ve updated your Site URL and reconnected Jetpack, and I can transfer your subscribers for you.
Thank u so much for your respond. I already follow your instruction….and done!. Please check again and do assisting transfer. I am looking forward the result.

Hi eurello, I check email subscriber has been moved, thank you :)
Hello, I’ve also recently moved from a wordpress.com blog to a wordpress.org self-hosted blog site. Can I request to have my subscribers forwarded from one to the other? I’ve paid for the site redirecting and have installed the jetpack plugin already. My wordpress.com site was: http://www.youngadultbooks.wordpress.com and my new site is http://www.thestorysanctuary.com
Thank you so much for your help!!
I need some help. I migrated a couple of weeks ago my londonlowcost.wordpress.com into my self-hosted wordpress blog londonlowcostblog.co.uk.
I imported everything but the subscribers weren´t imported. I would like to import them. I downloaded Jetpack as I read in the support and forums website but still they are not imported. Do you know what else I have to do?
Thanks in advance!!
