Import is Stuck

  1. My import is stuck. Can you reset it? It's been showing ""Processing… We're processing your import now and will send you an email when it's all done. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we'll get everything fixed." for a few days now.

  4. @csonnek - It still shows the same "processing" message. I see it when I go to Tools > Import, then select "Wordpress."

    And therein lies your problem - you need to go to Tools -> Import -> Posterous per the instructions listed here to import your Posterous file:

    Try importing there and let me know if you still have problems.

  6. I am importing an XML file from a WordPress self-hosted site, not Posterous, so I believe I have made the correct selection by using the "Wordpress" option. The initial import was successful for my blog data from 2004-2007, but it then got "stuck." I'd like to import my 2008-2013 data, but am unable to due to this "processing" hard stop.

  7. My apologies. We've had so many problem with Posterous imports lately I made the wrong assumption. Sorry about that!

    I reset the WordPress importer for you - please let me know if you still have trouble.
