Infinite scroll on Oulipo template shows only 2 loads (14 posts worth). Normal?

I am using infinite scroll feature on Oulipo template. but it loads only 14 posts, and then stops, without giving a “older posts” link also. Is that normal, or a glitch? To read posts after that, it’ll cause a problem then, right? Can you give me a solution please?

I’ve shifted to Yoko template in the interim :)

As you switched themes there’s nothing to see. Staff have been introducing “infinite scroll” to themes — a site wide change that will be applied to all themes that are suitable for the implementation.

Disabling” the infinite scroll feature to get rid of the pop-up in the footer results in a “Load More Posts” tab, and you can’t disable that “Load More Posts” tab from appearing and have “previous post” and “next post” links, without the Custom Design upgrade.

If you do not see a “Load More Posts” tab at the bottom of your front page in Oulipo after you disable infinite scroll then post again and I’ll flag this thread for Theme Staff attention.

Hi timethief, thanks for the quick reply :) I shifted back to Oulipo and tried as you said. This is my observation:

When I disable the Infinite scroll feature, it shows me a load more posts tab on the first load. I kept my reading settings as show 4 posts per page on blog, and syndication feeds to show 4 posts as well. So I got my 4 posts first, followed by the “Load more posts” tab. On clicking, I got another 4 posts. but the “Load more posts” tab wasn’t there after the second load. :)

    Thanks & cheers.

With inifinite scroll enabled, it loads 7 posts as mentioned on the first load :) and then when my scroll bar reaces the end of the 7, loads another seven, and then stops there. so a total of 14 posts are read, after which it stops loading further posts. No “load more posts tab” either.

I’ve kept my template as Oulipo, with I.S. enabled, so you can see.

    Greetings leo18887 . . .

The issue you are experiencing is (most probably) caused by security software or a Browser add-on that you are running to block Web tracking.

Your readers with similar software or Browser add-ons will (most probably) be also affected.

I have published a post explaining this issue in more detail, here:

    Best wishes
