insert audio

  1. Apparently I am unable to insert more than 1gb of audio (mp3) into a new blog. I just purchased the $79.00 bundle. [email redacted]

  2. I don't think you can upload ANY files that are larger than 1GB.

  3. That is correct, the maximum at this time is 1 GB per file. I recommend saving the audio at a lower bit rate, like 160 kbps or 128 kbps, to get a smaller file size.

  4. Thank you for your response, but I was able to do it. For some reason it was not allowing me to do what I have been doing all along. Must have been a temporary thing. The songs I had been inserting were anywhere from 3.5-5.5 gb. The bad part about it is that I cannot explain the "how I fixed it". I hope my problem has been solved, specially since I purchased quite a bit of space. Thank you for your response.

  5. Ah, I think you may be confusing GB with MB.

The files that you are uploading are actually 3.5 to 5.5 MB. 1 GB is 1,024 MB.

Your account only has 13 GB of space, so if you had been uploading files of up to 5.5 GB all along, you'd be in trouble. ;)

  6. I do apologize. I did mean to write 3.5 - 5.5mb., It's been a long day. Thank you once again. Ü
