Install theme from wordpress.org (Free Account)

Hello everyone :) I wanted to install this theme: https://wordpress.org/themes/customizr/ but I do not succeed. I looked at several sites, but my board administrator looks different on the category ‘appearance’. Is it because I have the free plan? Thank you very much for helping :)

Hey there,

It sounds like you are trying to install a third party theme for a self-hosted WordPress.ORG blog. Third party themes can not be uploaded to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. They are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

The good news is that WordPress.COM has hundreds of available themes that you can activate (many for free), and they are found under Appearance > Themes
