    There are some codes appearing on the side bar. This is how it looks like:
    var sc_project=2738894; var sc_invisible=0; var sc_partition=27; var sc_security=”5ae23ec8″;
    View My Stats.
    And the closing tag </script> originally from the statcounter html code is missing when i check back the text widget.

    There is certain code types that are stripped for security reasons here at wordpress.com. There are stat programs that you can use on wordpress.com and that one as well. Just have to do it the wordpress.com way ;)

    You have an extra set of quotation marks there. It’s easier for us to look at code if you paste it between backticks, the little mark on the same key as ~. When you put a backtick at the beginning and end of the code, it’ll show up perfectly instead of trying to execute the instructions in the code like it can sometimes do.

    Raincoaster, just a quick thanks for locating the backtick key on the keyboard. I drove myself nuts looking for this the other day.

    You’re welcome. It took me forever to find it, too.
