    Hi,

I am using the Intergalactic and I want to know how I can create a blog post but not have the whole body of text appear on the home page over the featured image. I have seen in the theme example that there only a few lines then a […] indicating that there is more to read. I deally I would like none of the post text to appear and have only the featured image and title.

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is jasonpinchessound.wordpress.com.

If you want to display only post excerpts on the front page or the blogs page of the blog followed by read more links, you can insert “the more tag” into each post prior to publication.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

The read more tag can be inserted once only into any post to change the front page or main page for posts display from full post to an excerpt. The split in the text does not display to you in preview mode but it will be there after the post is published.

Please Read Go Back and Edit Posts https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/#go-back-and-edit-posts and be sure to click Update to publish the after your editing.

For other ways to split content see > https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/
