Internal Redirects

  1. Hi!
Thanks for a great service! I've just migrated my blog from a self-hosted MovableType blog with its own domain ( to (not .org), and purchased a domain redirect. This all worked beautifully! Although the images from the old installation wasn't transferred seamlessly.

I have understood that there is no outbound redirects from, and guess that can be a way to prevent spam-redirecting. But I can't see a reason to not have internal redirects within your own blog. For example if someone accesses (my old rss feed) i would like to be able to redirect to (my new rss feed). I would also like to redirect old MovableType permalinks to my new permalinks, especially the rss feed (/index.rdf to /feed/).

I have been able to set this up on my old server where I have root access, but I would like to redirect the domain so I can phase out the old server completely.

    Again thanks!
