Is it possible to adjust the width in your sidebar?

I am trying to add some small banners. When they are added, they are too small but the other banners I have in there are true to size.

The blog I need help with is

    See here >

The only way to change the width of a sidebar is to purchase a custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing.

Thank you! and this explains why they are showing up too small as well:

Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)

The maximum content width is 585.
The maximum sidebar width is 188.
The header image is 1000 by 288 (width, height).
The maximum width for images on attachment pages is 848.

Sidebar is only 188 and the image is 330 :(

Is it possible to search for themes that have a sidebar able to handle an image that is 330?

You can use the same article I linked to for that. To me it doesn’t make any sense to choose another theme just so a single image can be accommodated in a sidebar. I would delete that image from my Media Library and upload a resized image that actually fits the sidebar width in the theme you have now.

If I resize the about me banner it will make it not readable.

That’s too bad so I guess you will be theme hunting then >

Or just do away with the one banner that isn’t working. It is cute so I could put it up on about me

Yes, putting it on your About page may be the way to go.

You’re right. It looks good there and you’re welcome. :)

one last question. is it possible to change your user name

Yes, but not right now as that feature is temporarily unavailable and we don’t know when Staff will reactivate it.
