I’m wanting to add a few more pages, which show up on the main menu above the header image. I’m using the Mistylook theme and there is a search box to the right of my main menu. Is it possible to remove the search box, or to move it elsewhere?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is pittand.wordpress.com.

The theme you are using is Misty Look. It may be possible to remove the searchbox through CSS editing but I do not know that for sure. You will have to wait for an volunteer who is adept at CSS editing to either confirm or deny that. The CSS editing upgrade costs $15. per year and is not recommended to bloggers who have no experience with CSS editing as their is no Staff support for learning.

I thought so. Thanks for the confirmation. :)

The answer then is the only way you can remove or move the searchbox is by purchasing a CSS editing upgrade and undertaking taking that work yourself.
