No it’s not possible to personally identify viewers of your blog.

I’m just wondering if it is possible for me to see the names of the people who view my blog?

Ok, so another stupid question… How can you tell when someone is following you? (I’m sorry I’m new to the whole blog thing)

You can set yup notifications. Go to > Dashboard > Settings > Discussion:
    E-mail me whenever
    _ Anyone posts a comment
_ A comment is held for moderation
_ Someone likes one of my posts
_ Someone reblogs one of my posts
    _ Someone follows my blog

Enable the notifications you want to receive and scroll down and save changes.

You can add something like Cluster Maps that will put a dot for the city / area a visitor comes from – you need to get the plain html version of the code (script will not work here) – there are several other ways to show similar info – but that is the one I use

I have a selection of free geographic visitor counters you can use on a WordPress.com blog linked to and described in this post Free Visitor Tracking Tools
