Hi, thank you. I’m doing a blog for a writer, it’s about poetry, so he would like that in some cases the title of a post is written in Italic, can that be done?
Please give me a hand here.

The blog I need help with is unpoemadia.wordpress.com.

    Hi there,

You can accomplish this by placing post titles inside em (emphasis) tags like this:

    <em> Your Title Here </em>

How it should look on the front end:

Thank you very much. Is there some kind of list of the codes I can use for other styles like bold, underline, small caps, etcetera?

If you need bold titles, you can place them inside strong tags:

    <strong> Your Title here </strong>

I think you’d need to use css for the rest ( I might be wrong, a staff member might be able to offer advice).

Custom css is only possible with a premium or business plan.
    .

One problem you’d face is that the css rule(s) would have to be modified each time you want to limit the style changes to a specific post by using that post’s id.

Basically, you’d have to write css each time you want to style a title differently (with the exception of bold and italics).

    Hi @fgarridor,

Yep, what @garysixtyeight said is correct. (Thanks Gary.) WordPress.com Premium or Business are required to use Custom CSS for changes like these.

If you decide to upgrade, feel free to reply to this thread or over in the CSS Customization forums with a new post there, and we’ll be able to assist you with the specific CSS code needed.
