Does wordpress.org have an e-commerce plug-in that can allow points based memberships? For example, a member buys 20 points for $10, then to access certain files they must pay 2 points or 3 points, etc?

Hi. If you meant to ask “Does WordPress.COM have an e-commerce plugin…?” the answer is no.

If you actually meant “WordPress.ORG” then you need to ask at the WordPress.ORG support forums, as indicated on the sticky posts at the front of this forum.

The blog linked to your name is a wordpress.com free hosted blog and appears to be commercial in nature. Please read these restrictions on wordpress.com blogs:
    http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

Note that wordpress.com free hosted blogs cannot be equiped for ecommerce as airodyssey has said and they cannot be used to retail or resell any product or service that you do not personally create or provide. The ToS prevents using a wordpress.com blog from being used to drive traffic to 3rd party sites. Therefore reading this entry is important as there is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.com blogs and we cannot upload plugins into them

Yes, I did mean wordpress.org as I am building a separate site that I would like to equip with e-commerce. As far as our wordpress.com blog, it is literally a blog and a how-to page. We are not under violation of any rules. Thanks.

As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG install then the correct forum to post to is here > http://wordpress.org/support/forum/
The plugin directory is here > http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/
