Issues with dimensions of footer widgets in Coraline.
I’m pretty new to WP and very new to CSS customization. Basically, I’m having an issue with the footer widgets on my site (http://devsevenine.wordpress.com).
The footer on all pages is perfect, except for the “Discog” page which for some reason stretches right across and is much wider than the rest of the content. I’m assuming because the other pages are fine that this is something to do with the content or a glitch in some code specific to that page. Do I have to much content on that page? Is there a problem with the CSS or HTML I’ve used?
If you head to http://devsevenine.wordpress.com/discog/ you’ll see exactly what I mean since I’m sure I’m not explaining this very well.
Any help/suggestions would be hugely appreciated!
The blog I need help with is devsevenine.wordpress.com.
Try closing your link on line 164 before your closing li.

Well that didn’t ‘t work very well. You have an unclosed tag on the third item under remixes. I do not know if that is causing your footer issues, but unclosed tags can make odd things happen. Look at your link and be sure to close it with the closing “a”.
Thanks for the suggestion (that was a dumb mistake!). I closed the tag but the issue remains…
Oh shoot. Had hoped that would miraculously fix it. The validator did show some other errors but often those disappear when you correct the first offender. Just in case, you might want to follow this article:
Perfect! Thank you so much for your help! That’s going straight in my bookmarks. Wonderful!
The author of that website often posts on the forums here under the name Justpi. Knows a lot of stuff and that website is just filled with super information. We all benefit from all the information shared there. So glad it helped.
