just username email never received
-
I created just a username: technodivatraining, but the confirmation email never arrived at the email address. Now I can’t login, but it says the username is not available. I didn’t want to create a blog, just a username.

LOL yes. It then said I was supposed to look for a confirmation email, but it never came. It was in response to an invitation from Sylviahubbard1 to become a contributor to href=”http://motownwriters.wordpress.com”>http://motownwriters.wordpress.com.

Do you still have the tab open that you used to sign up? These are the instructions on the signup page for if you haven’t received your email yet:
Still waiting for your e-mail? If you haven’t received your activation e-mail yet there are a number of things you can do:
Wait a little longer. Sometimes delivery of e-mail can be delayed by processes outside of our control.
Check the junk folder of your e-mail client. The e-mail sometimes ends up there.
Have you entered your e-mail address correctly? We think it’s xxxxx but if that’s wrong use the button below to fix it.If those instructions don’t solve the problem, you can contact support and ask them to resend the email

I did it hours ago and just got back in front of a computer. Not in spam, but I double checked the email before I left
